Project Brief: Provide a lighting solution combining heritage, contemporary design and technical lighting expertise. Design and manufacture four contemporary XXL pendant lights referencing the original octagonal chandeliers in this iconic Australian museum. Technically, the lighting required excellent colour rendering and illumination to allow for the wide variety of purposes the Long Gallery supports. The XXL pendants are suspended from chandelier winches mounted in the roof space.
